About this place

Welcome to SOL — a calm and comfortable space in the heart of Funchal, created for travellers who enjoy discovering a place at their own rhythm. SOL I is a bright 55 m² one-bedroom apartment with a living room, a well-equipped kitchenette with washing machine, and three balconies with city, garden and mountain views. The bedroom has a double bed and the living room adds a sofa bed, a flat-screen TV, a work desk and an iPad. Fast Wi-Fi, heating and a lift make it an easy base in any season. The historic centre, the marina and many of our favourite restaurants are within walking distance — the cathedral is 600 m away and the old town about ten minutes on foot. To welcome you, we like to leave a small taste of Madeira, and we are always happy to share the walks, viewpoints and small places that make the island special.
