About this place

Welcome to SOL — a calm and comfortable space in the heart of Funchal, created for travellers who enjoy discovering a place at their own rhythm. SOL II is a cosy 35 m² one-bedroom apartment with a separate living room and its own private kitchen with a breakfast bar. The balcony looks over the quiet gardens at the back of the building, toward the mountains. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed; the living room adds a sofa bed, a flat-screen TV and an iPad. Fast Wi-Fi, heating and a private entrance make it an easy base in any season, and a garage parking spot can be arranged on request (8 €/day). The location is the same as SOL I — 600 m from the cathedral, ten minutes' walk from the old town, with the marina and our favourite cafés and restaurants nearby. To welcome you, we like to leave a small taste of Madeira.
